DeadPoly - Zombie Survival

General Gameplay

DeadPoly is a zombie survival shooter where you can loot and craft defenses, all while you try to survive in a world against both zombies as well as other players.

This game is not like any other zombie survival game like 7 Days to Die, where you can build your base up from scratch. In this one, you have to occupy a current building by building defenses like:

    - Metal Spikes (1000 HP)

    - Metal Fence (3500 HP)

    - Metal Door/s (2000 HP)

    - Barbed Wire (500 HP)

    - Metal Barricade (1000 HP)

You are able to build defenses in wood, but be cautious, as these structures can easily get destroyed with any type of melee tool or weapons. Metal defenses currently can only be weakened by bullets. There are also the option to build structures in concrete, but this part is being added more for each patch.

Current Map

Getting Started

When you start the game, you will have to collect wood by using the pan you start with or you can find other tools and start chopping a tree. If you press [TAB], your personal crafting table will pop up. The basic workbench is where you will be able to craft the same things that you can in your personal crafting table, but at half the resource price. You are also able to construct other items in your basic workbench such as:

- Anvil

- Mortar and Pestle

- Concrete Mixer

- Instant Concrete

- Item Salvager

- Sewing Machine

… as well as many other things. Keep in mind that you need to find tools in the open world that you have to put in your basic workbench, or anvil, or in other items so that you can create the ultimate defense for your base, as well as a good offence to protect yourself out there against the zombies, or players.

Toolbelt

How do we put items into our toolbelt?

Start to press [TAB] and switch over to GEAR up in the top left corner.

Your two main weapons will automatically be filled down in your toolbelt when you drag and drop any type of weapons into the boxes of 1 and 2.

In order to fill up the rest of your toolbelt, drag and drop the items that you want to use in each of the empty boxes in the toolbelt itself. You can only utilize 2 weapons on you at all times but if you want to use a different type of weapon, drag the current weapon out from box nr 1 or 2, and replace it with something different.

Backpacks

There are several different types of backpacks in this game and each one has have a different weight capacity.

Backpack Sizes:

    - Nomad Pack                          -> 150 kg

    - Expedition Pack                   -> 100 kg

    - Turtle Backpack                  -> 100 kg

    - Koopa Shell Backpack        -> 80 kg

    - Explorer Backpack              -> 70 kg

    - Military Backpack                -> 65 kg

    - Camp Backpack                    -> 55 kg

    - Adventure Backpack           -> 50 kg

    - Backpack                              -> 45 kg

    - Mermaid Backpack              -> 35 kg

    - Buzzy Backpack                   -> 33 kg

    - School Backpack                  -> 30 kg

    - Slimline Backpack               -> 30 kg

    - Cute Backpack                     -> 25 kg

You can also expand your carrying capabilities by adding additional backpacks or storage crates within your own backpack to maximize how much you are able to carry. The only limit that we have are the total weight. Some of these crates are:

Small reinforced crate - 250 kg - 36 empty slots.

1000 HP

Comes in the colors of: Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Beige, etc.

Reinforced crate - 325 kg - 48 empty slots.

1250 HP

, Blue, Beige, etc.

Large reinforced crate - 450 kg - 64 empty slots.

1500 HP

Anvil

In order to make metal doors, barricades, metal spikes and more, you have to gather x50 metal to build the anvil in your basic workbench.

But how do we obtain metal in the game?

You can loot metal in containers, corpses, boxes, dumpsters, trash piles as well as hitting cars with your tools. They will even spawn randomly on the ground itself if you look close enough. The best way to get metal is to break it down from its original form in the item salvager. Keep in mind that if you have an orange car battery, then the item salvager will be in that color but it will be blue if you chooses the blue car battery. The item salvager is somewhat costly to create but will be one of your most utilized items when it comes to your daily base operations.

What can we salvage?
